Anyone installed one of these ? What's the word on them ? good/bad ? any probs ?
On a similar note, has anyone broke their stock diff ?
How about the Phantom Grip ? Although im not too keen on the locking methodology of this one....
What are your thoughts on the matter...
I'm really happy with it. The only problem I had was having the proper spacer for it but it's understandable in my case, I use a 98 Civic DX tranny and the bearing size is smaller than an SI on the diff. so I had to machine shop the tranny case but now it's a problem of the past. As for my EOM diff., I almost broke it, one theeth was gone and the shaft was a bit loose. I would stay far away from the phantom grip. There was an article on it 1 or 2 months ago, they haven't say anything bad about it, beside that it was a low cost solution, but I sure didn't like how it works.
