I'm going to see Hanoi Rocks next week!

Anyone seen them lately? Any good?

What about the set list these days?

I've never seen 'em, but Nasty has said that they sound better than they ever did with him. But I would still rather have Nasty up there. I lay it more on that they are cleaned up now, as opposed to then.

But setlist, on the last time out it was a "Best Of" type of thing, with 3 or so sonngs off the last one. I would expect this time to be getting even fewer of the old songs, and I would guess 3 or so off the new one and the same number off the last. This is all speculation, but Hanoi doesn't seem to have much interest in being a band living off of it's past for too long, ya know?

Oh, I would also expect an Electric Boys tune to find a way into there.

The thing I like about the new Hanoi is, they are making NEW music, not rehashing the same old crapola like several other 80's bands you see these days.

I finally got my hands on Demolition 23. What a great record.

I LOVE the first half of Demolition 23, then it runs down. But yeah, I do like how Hanoi is trying REAL hard to not be a throw back band. Hats off to them.

I'd tend to agree with you on the Demoltion 23 Carl, I was pleasantly suprized with the punkier edge to it.
