Good price for a "parts" stove. Might even have a pot in the thermowell. Don't expect the thermostat to work. Look at the brown stain above the oven. That's a sign of oven over heating. When a Thermostat fails, it almost always over heats, like several hundred degrees. Sometimes so hot that the rock wool melts into little beads.

question, can the highback on a stove like that be swapped out with the lowback piece on this stove?

btw, Sam, I'm not sure that's a good price for a parts stove, since I managed to obtain not one, but two, for free. (one's a true parts stove, and the other I'm going to sell to finance the resto of the first stove, a 90-C, which cost me $200)
