BTW: Garfield RULES! I have the comic come up everyday on my Yahoo home page. Slowly collecting the catalog of strips...Best comic since Calvin and Hobbes....
hilliard farber sent our group breakfast this morning, bt the coffee was cold so i'll take some of that folger's crack please
*pulls up back of pants*
yeah, enough of the crack jokes! Fix your own damn plumbing next time, eh?
SNB-Garfield? You compare Garfield to Calvin & Hobbes??? That cat ain't even in the same league as C & H! Bill Watterson's humor was edgier and had a far wider range. Garfield basically eats & sleeps! ZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
the only strip, in my opinion, that came anywhere near calvin & hobbes was berkeley breathed's bloom county/outland & now opus
comic strips are the only things worth reading in a newspaper
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Bloom County came before C & H...but I hold them both in the highest regard. Kudos to Breathed's half page grab!Quote:

There are two comics that I swear are the offspring of Calvin & Hobbes. "Get Fuzzy" has the edge (although sometimes inconsistant) whilst "Frazz" captures the cute factor with it's drawing style and smart wit.
