Hi guys,
Does anyone of you have experience with samplers? I have a Roland TD-6 which I use as a sequencer and I would like to use it in combination with an Akai sampler for better and other sounds. I have no idea of the possibilities and no idea of the (dis)advantages using it on stage.

You can use it by having a midi controller of some sorts. You need this in order to cycle the different midi notes and assignements. A controller would be maybe an Aphex Impulse, DTS70 and DrumKAT. I don't know enough about the Roland stuff and whether you could use it to control an outside source for midi use.
