Howdy yall.
I'm fixin to pick up a set of 16 x 7.5 Kosei K-1 racing wheels for my gsr and am trying to determine which tire to go with.
Here are the contenders as of now. Any input greatly appreciated.
Yokohama Parada: @ 100$ a decent value with its UTQG 300A rating.. however I cant find very many reviews or testimonials on this relatively new design. I would like to get these tires but I dont know enough about their performance/life/them.
Dunlop SP sport 9000. By far the most expensive @ 127$ a tire. Alot of positive reports though, a proven design. UTQG 280AA
And what Im leaning towards in terms of bang for buck.....Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712. A lot of reviews.. some bad, but some great!?! I figure its gotta be a hell of a lot better than my stock michelins and at 77$ a pop with a UTQG 280AA It cant be all bad...
Help meeeeeeee.
Thanks! Smitty.

Since you seem interested in keeping your budget a little lower, why not look into the Dunlop SP5000? They are a superb tire for all conditions, in my experience, and have lasted me longer than any tire I've used; and they're a lot cheaper than the 9000s! Just a thought.
Bridgestone RE730s are pretty decent too but i like the Dunlop 5000s better personally.

I've been running the Parada's (205/45/16) for about 2 weeks now. It's a huge difference from those crappy Nitto 450's that I've been using. Once wamed up they're nice and sticky. These tires aren't as sticky as my brother's Bridgestone RE71's but I bet they'll last longer.
What about the yokomama's A520? I've heard good things about those.
