Does anyone have a copy of the DRUM magazine from 1991 (?) with Weckl on the cover and he's talking about his technique and how he developed it? I'd be curious to read this article... if anyone has this mag, would you be willing to do a trade for a photocopy of the article???
I have it. Matter of fact I was just in the garage going thru all the mags I actually have. Rythym, Drumsndrumming, talking drums, drum!, Stickit, Percussioner. I will look for the Drum Magazine you are talking about.
I've got a bunch of Modern Drummer mags from October '87 'til about Jan 2000, just sittin around waiting for a happy home. Any archivers interested, drop me an e-mail. I've a few issues missing here and there, but it's MOSTLY complete.

The issue of Drum! was actually when it they were printed as a newspaper.

Randy, would you happen to have International Percussioner with a Vinnie article in it? Someone was telling me about it. It contained music examples if I'm not mistaken.
