well, i saw the post sticky on the other board, and finally got around to going to the website. and since i like to look at stills of other people work, i thought i would get mine up there too.
also, as i am on 56kbps modem, i do not get to watch the shorts that are posted.(files are huge!)
now i will try to find other super8 pics.

What is the free album idea?
Hey I like the idea of posting stills so I tried to do some of mine since I'm having a hard time just making a web page. It was pretty easy. Check out the stills from my overexposed shoot last summer- The "Quiz Show" scene, from my work in progress "Project 9...Chronicals of a Girl Genius".

Alex, you've got such a nice web page I wish I knew how you did it. I used this editing program called "Coffecup" which was a freeware program I downloaded off the net. It seemed to work ok, but when I view the page on someone elses computer, the text never lines up correctly with the pictures even after you close the advertisers window. If you get some time maybe you could give me some advice.

I tried to leave a comment on your site but it clicks me over to register without taking the comment.
Here is the message...
Hey Paul, looks like you have a great foundation from which to expand your Super-8 filmmaking skills, you have a real job to support it!
You also have an obvious generational lineage of creativity which is really cool! Your movie idea about keeping rooms clean while fighting the forces of evil, so true, so true.
Hey thanks for checkin out my website Alex! Thanks for the positive feedback, I'm glad Super 8mm is still available and people like you are out there to give advice. You know, I travel all over the state for my job meeting all kinds of people in all sorts of industries- I keep a book with names of people I meet and who are friendly to the idea of letting me use thier location to shoot sometime. That's why I really wish I had a decent web site- then I could direct them to see my past work and read about it, taking me a little more seriously or becoming more interested in participating.
Do you have any advice at all on how you created your site http://www.super-8mm.net? What a great looking web page and the text actually lines up correctly with the images, whoah!
If you saw the Project 9 preview page you probaly noticed that the images didn't line up correctly witht the words beneath them but you know what's strange is that looks fine on my computer.
??? Thanks again for taking the time to help.
Thnaks again for the input.
Many webhosting services now have pre-made templates for under a hundred dollars.
You choose from a variety of web pages you want.
Just add text and jpg's and there you are.
I can relate to the text not matching, I actually sent a letter to the webhost and they were able to fix it!
I don't like text that spans across the whole page, so my template choices were reduced a bit but I like what I got.
Thanks for noticing!
