omg I am having so much fun down here, we ended up at one more street race here in AL, I was such a d**k to this one mustang gt owner, the converation went something like thi: me: um.....hey whos mustang? GT: Me! what do u want? me; um......(shuffles foot a bit)... um wanna race?" GT: yeah. Me; what do u have? GT; jus stock. me: dude dont fu**in lie to me i asked you what you have,I'll tell you what i have. GT: what kind of Bs do you have? Me; um a supercharged Integra. (long silence.......) Me; wanna race? GT: (quietly) nope sorry.

HA! my first domestic that backed down from a race! gosh i love that s**t!

ps. we raced a firebird LT1 and ran EXACTLY EVEN.

I am learning that the domestics are starting to pick up that if an import is running a SC or turbo that they do not have some basic modifications that they will tend to loose, so they do not bother.

Now come back to Tx so we can race. The weather has been nice the last 2days here. Call me when you get back Sim.

Three weeks ago I picked on a Cobra... after I pulled him by a few car lengths at over 140 something, (he's claiming 160, but my speedo doesnt go that high) he followed us to the gas station where I get race fuel, and kept wanting to shake my hand. he couldnt believe he lost to a four cylinder. Wanted to know what kind of Turbo or how much spray... hahahaha... I just said "none, same as you, four less cylinders" http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif he was good natured about it though. Better than some.

Those Vobra's (Cobra + Vortech) haul ass. Of course you also have to deal with crappy Ford Quality, and lack of cooling, at least on the older Cobra's. It will be interesting to see how much HP the new Cobra's have. Of course by that time I will have my Turbo installed.

sim (MTRS the 1st) in here in bama visiting and we were out riding around tonite. as we were riding along we get passed by a mustang and than another one and than another one. it ended up being like 6 altogether. so i followed one for a bit and it ended up being a guy i knew. so i raced him and walked on him. (i am driving sim's car.) so than we go to a parking lot and start talking for a few minutes when another mustang pulls up. this one was a cobra, the first one was a gt. so the cobra is like lets run so we did. igot my ass kicked. we go back and start talking and this cobra has a vortech blower on it. he had just gotten thes car back yesterday. so after a little bit another mustang pulls up. this one is a gt also. dood starts talking a bunch of smack so i was like ok lets run. so we did. this guy claimed spray but i couldn't tell. i ran away from him in 3rd gear. now i think were going to go downtown to the street races and add to the kill list!!! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yeah its funny, my head last night was a potent mix of adreniline, maybe a little alcohol, and definetely a rush from the action. at certain points i was talkin mad trash and havin fun, on the way to the street races we raced some guy n his gf in a c4 heading out on the hi-way. dead even roling from 4th@65 to 120,then shifting to 5th we edged him ever soooooo little. i had the guy pull along side @2am on the interstate and was like "what che think brother man?!" he was like "dayum bro your s**t is fast! damm i loved that respect he gave. i jus love seing the faces of the people afterwords... Like in the first mentioned story stace n myself were on our way to like see a movie and we had jus eatin and were like "lets go catch a flick". Then 2 minutes away from the theater we get caught up in a pack of ponys....Well hell im thinking "wanna race with these guys and see where they go?" she was like "yeah, what movie?" heheheh Now guys dont ya wish more girls were like that? Ha! And so thats how the whole night started@9:30 to 3am. man i was wasted tired commin home, whew.......

The red gt stace raced was one of the best i "set-up", the guy pulls up. (kinda looked like Matt Macouvany" dude from the "wedding planner") He was COCKY and talkin mad trash and then he met...

me. (hehehhe)

he was like "pretty car"
me: "gee thanks."
me: are u quick?
him: naw just stock.
me: what che got done to it?
him: Im not going to tell YOU.
me: hmmmmmmm
me: well if we race i wanna go froma roll cus of my shi**y street tires and such...
him: ok but it aint gonna help ya(laughs amongst his friends)
me: oh and my friend here who's a girl is gonna drive.
him: (giggling hysterically)

Anyway this baiting went on back n forth to where finally i pissed him off and he said "dude **** it lets race!"

after 2 runs, the last one being where we were dead even 2nd thru 3rd, we pulled on him strong at around 6500 rpms.. I was like "HA HAHAHAHA! (whoopin n hollerin)".

They pull back in the lot.

I got out of the car and jumped up and down and said "Ennee meenee minnee moe, catch a mustang by the toe!" His friends were silent. then i said "and to top it off you got beat by a GIRL motherf***ker!"

i was rolling!

we chatted a few minutes and then as he was leaving he stuck his hand out the window and sheepishly said "nice race man" and drove off.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

the blown cobra (previous race)ended up having a vortech blower on it@8psi it looked to be a low 13 sec car, eh.
at first when i asked him what he had, he was like "stock". after we raced i asked him again he said.........

"every mod i could get my hands on..."

me: (smiled broadly)

the first gt we raced, as we passed him-he told us later he was like "oh ss**t, oh sh** damm!" (when he got passed).

hehehehe

Finally the last race of the night was pretty comical, the 96 firebird, i knew chevys weren't as slow as GT's so i approaced this guy with a measure of casual respect.
me; hi.
him; hey bud.
me; wanna race?
him; ok
me; what che got?
him; oh jus a 350 v8
me. oic
him; what che you got?
me; oh jus that 4 door car over there yonder..
him; (completely honestly) "sure you wanna race? this is a big motor and all." dude was cool but totally sounded like forest gump or somethin, which added to the comical effect.
me; naw its cool,hey um you'll be racing my friend whos a girl ok?
him; uhhhhh ok if you wanna.

and so we lined up. as we goin they got the jump and then we were DEAD EVEN 2nd thru 4th gears.
pulled back around and i was like pretty cool race huh?
him; (shakes his head) dayum man thats a fast car, and a girl was racing me! (like he couldent belive it or somethin).


Whew am i beat this mornin, time to get some grits n bisquits and gravy! whooo doggie!
