Yup. I'm gonna race my GSR off road. In a wild field actually.
I'm going to install some mudflaps, hopefully some big-ass ones with Yosemite Sam holding his guns that say "Keep on Truckin'". Then I'll slap on the not-used-since-1999 14" Blizzaks.
I can't believe I'm going to drive 4 hours each way for this. It better be a hoot. I love sliding around in snow, so I think I'll like it.
Anybody know anything about RallyCross? All advice and/or links are appreciated.
uhmm, might not be a bad idea to whip up some underbody cladding ? kiss your front spoiler bye bye ? get some nice 70 series tires ?
Nah... My car is only lowered 3/4". Plus, I talked to the guy who runs it and he said as soon as ruts build up, they either rake it out or move the course.
I don't really expect anything to break. It's not like there's jumps or anything!
<edit> Actually, I do want to find some vinyl sheeting that I can run down the sides to prevent scratches. I saw some guys with stuff like that at an autocross. They were using it on a white car to prevent cone marks.
Know where to get some?<edit>

Well, your car had a really loose/worn suspension from your activities with your sister. I guess that is a good way to let people know you "USE" your car.

After running through the mud, I would get violent vibrations from 50 MPH+ from the wheels being so out of balance. It took forever to get all that stuff off...
...But man, those 180 degree slides (reverse to forward without stopping) in the mud were a lot of fun!!! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
