i have a 99 civic si,jrsc w/6psi pully, kamikazi header, strait pipe,3"thermal exaust,3" short ram intake, walboro fuel pump and apexi v-afc. i was wondering why my boost gauge was reading 10lbs at WOT???? could my boost gauge be hooked up wrong? it used to read 12psi before the exhaust. i don't have any restrictions that would cause higher boost,so if you could help me out....thanks....

Maybe you got one of the "good" eaton blowers that TOO talks about. There's supposed to be a lot of variation between the performances of their production line blowers.

Im in the same boat man. I have an 8psi pully and it says Im at 11 psi at wot, so who knows. I would just be sure you take the advice of others and think about the safety of your motor as if you were going to add more boost.

If the pulley is for 8 psi with a GSR, it's going to produce substantially more on a 1.6 liter engine. You have to take displacement into account.

how would i have gotten a gsr pully??? a mistake by jr?? if i was truly running 10lbs wouldn't i be detonating badly since i have no water injection or NOS? i checked my plugs for metal chips or anything unusual and they look fine. maybe i shouldn't worry about it. it could be that the gauge is off. it's an autometer boost gauge.... thanks for the input....

i have a del sol with a b16 swap in it. i am running the 8 psi pulley on my blower. the average boost numbers i see are 9 and sometimes 10. i did see it go to 11 twice. i am at about 13 degrees of timing and not the first hint of detonation. i also have no a/c and no power steering. i dont know if that helps but there ya go. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif
