I have a 99 civic ex with a jrsc on for a while now. For some reason when the boost gauge reads 1 psi or maybe 2 psi and around 2.5k-3k rpm the car starts jerking. This happens when I give it just enough throttle to maintain 1 or 2 psi at a constant but it doesn't always do it. Is it because of the the black box turning on and off or a sticky bypass or something else?

Pull the wire from the JRSC pressure switch on the intake and retest. This will lock the relay in "enriched fuel" mode. If the jerking dissappears, it's the enrichment system (switch and relay).
