So I tried doing what Jen did... and e-mailing the Fan Club about my seats, but instead of an offer to come to a Meet & Greet, instead I see this posted on the Fan Club board this morning:
Priority Seating Announcement!
Due to circumstances beyond our control we are not able to offer priority seating to any further venues.
The problem has arisen where we were promised the best seats and in some cases our members have been allocated seats farther back than friends of theirs, who ordered via the ticket sellers themselves. Obviously we feel very bad about having to do this but in all honesty the last thing in the world we want to do is offer you something that we cannot necessarily deliver.
It is completely beyond our control and something we never anticipated having to do. We know that you are all fantastic dedicated fans who will be able to purchase tickets the moment that they go on sale, so we are sure that you will all still be able to get great seats.
We are not going to be entering into any correspondence on this matter, as we are sure you will understand that we simply will not have time to do this. We are hoping that you understand our predicament. On the bright side you are still being offered the Sound Check Pass and judging by the feedback today, after the first concert in Melbourne you are all going to really enjoy it.

I'm kinda upset now, because if I am only the second person to e-mail then surely it shouldn't cause a reaction such as ^^. Now I need all your advice - do I e-mail TRacey and say seeing as I'm only the second person to do this can I at least go to a M&G, or should I leave it and just have a good time at the soundcheck and concert, bad seats or not? I'm on the horns of a dilemma, please help me!!
xxLauren

I'd e-mail them hun - it can't hurt and it'd make you feel a bit better
It's all been a complete shambles with the f/c, from what I can gather Poor Jen must be really disappointed now b/c he's postponed his gig in Newcastle until further notice so she's worse off than before

ok, thanks Terry - I was kind of leaning towards e-mailing them but I wasn't sure if it would be seen as incredibly rude, seeing as they have already said 'we're not going into correspondence about it'
Eek, now the problem of how to phrase my message... What do I want to say? Can I at least go to a meet and greet or I want you to change my tickets? hmmmmm I think I'll just say that seeing as you offered another two fan club members the chance to go to a meet and greet when they had a seating problem, I think you should do the same for me, especially if I am only the second person to e-mail you about this. Sound ok? I'll put up a finished draft for you all to check in a mo

This is the draft e-mail:
Dear Fanclub
I wrote to you yesterday explaining my problem with the priority seating, and then this morning read a notice on the website saying that due to there being difficulties with the priority seating, you weren?t going to offer it for any of the other venues. I sincerely hope that my e-mail didn?t sound like I was in any way criticising how you, the fanclub, had acted ? if anyone, it was the fault of the ticket distributors that not all fanclub members got the best seats.
However, I am aware of what happened to the people who e-mailed you from Australia and whilst I understand that if 20 or so people wrote in then you could not possibly offer the same treatment to them all, as far as I know, I was only the second person to e-mail you about this and certainly do not know of any others with the same problem.
Thank you for your time,
Lauren

Feel free to comment, give advice and tell me what you think.
I feel it's missing a summing-up paragraph about what I want from them, but I don't know how to phrase it! If anyone can help...

Im so sorry for you Lauren that is not good!!
I guess the thing is who knows how many people did email them about this.. I bet they must of got alot!!!! They wouldnt of made this decision lightly I guess. I dont know why they cant do fanclub seating in future. Bon Jovi have been doing it for years and its always worked out well for the fans!!. But alas if its not working its better not to offer it so people have there own chance of getting good tickets.

My brain isn't working properly today so I don't understand why that ^^ is.

Maybe you're not only the second person (repeating what Kat said). It isn't good that you haven't got the seating you expected, but at least you get to go to the concert and the sound check pass. Some have only one or the other, and some don't have any! I say you should enjoy darren, because it's Darren who's important, not the seats! <*My opinion when I am cold and tired*

ok thanks everyone
*has now decided to not e-mail the Fanclub about this*

^^ Lauren you can email by all means and express your side of the story. All I suggest is leave out the second person part

Hmmm well I don't know if I should because although I think getting Row O was very bad considering it was supposed to be priority, I suppose it was a bit selfish to write to them with the hopes of getting to a meet and greet. I think I'll just leave it then that way it's over and done with.
