how did you replaced your belt? Did you have to remove all other accessory belts??? I'm planning to swap out my belt soon. Pls give me some hints.
I feel for you, mine looked IDENTICAL to that, however, i believe my belst was a shade worse than what you showed. I puy my OLD belt up to the NEW belt and was shocked at how that thing could wear soo much. Amazing...

This weekend I decided to replace the pulleys on my 1 year old kit. I can tell they were really worn out. The installation was pretty straight forward. I removed the small idler bracket by taking off the 2 12mm bolts and the adjustment screw. What I didn't expect to see was how WORN the pulley was! Not only that but it was worn unevenly causing lumpiness. I got underneat the car to remove the other pulley which was not in nearly as bad condition. When I took off the SC belt, I was shocked. It looked just like the rediculously worn belts you see only in shop manuals. I would say it was about 2K miles away from snapping! I put on about 30,000 miles with the SC and I made made sure the belt was not too overtightened. Or at least I thought!
OK so now I need to find a new belt which I was able to find at Pep Boys. The new belt also seemed to be of much higher quality.
Finally slipped the belt on, put on the new pulleys and properly tightened the belts this time. Started the car up and wow is it MUCH quieter. I used to have a loud resonance from 2500-3500 RPM which is now GONE. That grinding rock noise I thought was normal at idle is also gone. Throttle response is much better too. The car is much more enjoyable to drive.
Here are some of the pics I took during the install.
