I just got back from shooting a scene my first film in 5 years.
( MOS, second unit stuff...back story. Looking to shoot the film in the fall and maybe if it's done and short enough ad it to your group film. )
How refreshing!
Here I was, downtown with tripods, reflectors a large butterfly and even in listed the help of a local hot dog vender as extras ...No Hassles, No Police stops. No permits or being run off!

Indeed. That would make a funny feature. A guy who
promotes his small community as being the first true lived in Studio back lot.
He pretends to own the city and works with movie studios that come in to town. The town thinks he's a hero for bringing in much needed revenue.
Ok, so it would be a hokey comedy.
