Exchange (GAPP)

This thread's for anyone that participated in the GAPP exchange or is going to be hosting a German exchange student. Anyone interested in being part of the exchange is welcome to post.

For those of you that may not know or have somehow forgotten, our exchange partners will be arriving October 7th sometime in the afternoon (I believe I was told after 6:00 pm). We still need homes for 2 boys and 1 girl (or it may be 2 girls and 1 boy). Anyway, we have 3 homeless Germans. If you know anyone that would be able to rectify that, please have them contact Frau B.

We are now down to one homeless girl and one homeless boy. Once again, if anyone knows of someone that can take these students in, please let Frau B know.

Yesturday we had a meeting for all people hosting a German. Anyone that did not attend, please see Frau B. We went over our itiniary and also over some basic guidelines for the Germans as well as a few ways to make them seem welcome. The welcome party will be held at Lance's house.

If you can't tell already, the Germans are here. Just a reminder to those who have exchange partners, Thursday and Thursday are our trips. Also, on Monday (tomorrow) the Germans are supposed to meet in room 110 just before first hour. They'll be there until the end of advisory. You can find your partner then. Those of you that have Frau Bleicher for second hour can probably just head to her room and they'll all meet you there, since they'll be with Frau B. anyway.
