What do y'all think of inter-racial relationships??

I guess being from the deep south..and i dont really know many people of color..or really many that are diff nationalities..we are clannish here..and yeah..even the KKK abounds secretly..i dont think it matters much..like spirit said..what makes you happy...but i do know one thing..girls here if they do that kinda thing..arent welcome in polite company..are subjected to awful kinda of social reactions..I havnt ever been attracted to anyone other than my race..but it could only be because i was taught not to..but all in all..my honest opinion is..If you can find one ounce of happiness..take it..life is too short to go thru it alone..because your afraid of what ppl might think...its your life..live it..*S

I say (in just my opinion)..NO! NO! NO!..I think God would have made it that way if thats the way it should've been..but to each is own..I dont judge someone else for it though....*S*

Well, Blaze you and Spirit know that I'm currently involved with a Mexican guy who is however a legal US resident and citizen...He was born here in Texas...his mom and dad are full blooded Mexicans...He makes me extremely happy...I jus wanted to know what y'all think,,,and I won't let anyone make me not love him for the race or what not...he's an amazing guy who captured the majority of my heart in a very short time...Which shocked me to all hell...Thanks for your opinions *S*..

I have to agree with Spirit too.....I was raised to just see a "person" not the color of their skin. I think if you love someone, it should be for who they are inside...not about the color of their skin. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] Just my opinion *S*

aight nobody wants to be the first person to say something so i'll do it...personally i have no problem with them...skin color or nationality shouldnt factor into the equation... relationships are complex enough as it is... i will say this however...in most cases mixed race relationships are subjected to extra strain....disapproving friends, neighbors, and family members tend to apply unwanted and unneeded stress to an already delicate situation..but in the end one thing matters...what is it that makes YOU happy?

when i first met him he said he wasn't white i said cool...and kept talkin and he goes well don't ya wanna know what race i am and i said...doesn't matter a persons race doesn't make them who there are....and he goes well guess...I said i dun wanna guess(stubborn lil shit i am) and he said he's Mexican...He's better than alot of white guys i know...I'd definately give them up for him...he's honest and genuine...I love him to bits and pieces...thanks ~Heaven*smooches*

I agree with both Spirit and Heaven....I was raise in Los Angeles, Ca, so needless to say I am pretty versatile person. Color, race, religion, creed, whatever makes no nevermind to me...People are people and we ALL deserved to be treated accordingly....No less then we ourselves would want to be treated...Live Love and BE Happy and don't let anyone else tell you any different...if you aren't hurting anyone, then do as ye will....
