How much should I pay for a pair of 846b valencias? The owner said that he has replaced one of the cones with new old stock. He said therefore there could be some difference between the sound of the two speakers. he hasn't listened to them since reconing one. He said he thinks the previous cone was blown by sub-audible frequencies (from a warped record). Any suggestions?
Also, should I try to drive 846Bs with 3 watt single ended triodes? Thank you.
