help re-installing oven door frame

Trying to slide oven door frame back in. The oven wall sides are compressing in - I have wedged and clamped to push / pull them out of the way so I can get the spring rods into the holes. Where exactly do the oven door stops slide into and where do the hinges for the rods fit? It has been a while since I took this apart and I think some of this was hidden anyway.

I believe Pokey said he could sell me some door springs. I am interested if that offer still stands. I did not get "compression" springs as I never did understand what those were and how they operated. I am just now figuring that out for myself.

alas the springs are gone.
The oven door springs work when you mash them i e
squeez them together much like the springs on a
car when you hit a bump and the weight of the car
goes down on the spring.
The work by compression.
Screen door springs work when they are stretched
tight. when the door is released they spring back. They work by tension.

That is not helping you with the door frame.
Probably the reason the inside of the oven is pushing in is that you inadvertenly forced the oven
door stop and spring rod out still attached to the oven door frame.
If you will look at the left hand side of the oven
facing it with the fram you will see a slit in the
side of the outer fram that attaches to the oven. The oven door stop fits through this and is attached to the to the inner door fram on each side with two screws.
If you look at the oven itself you will see an open split area that the door stop fits into with
the spring rod going in first and then out of a
hole in the bottom right below where the outer
door frame fits.
If this is the case you may have a problem. Parts
will be bent out of shape and forced through holes
that they were not meant to come out of. This will be more difficult but it can be fixed.

If this is not the case then you are in luck it
is just a matter of locating the screw holes on
either side of the inner oven door frame and attaching the oven door stop.
The Manual for the C Model shows part of the assembly in place. Look at Figure 9 page 10.
On the lower left hand corner of the oven front
the oven door stop rod going through the oven door
spring. The rod is attached to the oven door stop
which is attached to the door.

Thanks for responding. I pulled the oven door frame out as I thought I was told to - up and out. This was with the stops and spring rods attached. Nothing seemed bent out of shape at the time. The slits in the oven sides have rock wool peeking out. do the door stops go in there? Or in between the oven wall and the rack guides? Or somewhere else? Do I need to dismantle something before putting it back in? How should this have been done if this wasn't it?

Yes the door stops go in the slit in the side of the
oven with the rock wool sticking out. The spring
rod goes into that hole with the rod coming out of
a hole at the bottom. Once you get the rod through
the hole in the bottom looking down then the spring
goes onto the rod. see one of my previous descriptions. After you get the assembly back
on both sides then you can work on getting the
inside of the oven back into shape. The inner side
wall of the oven was distorted when the oven door
stop was forced out of the little slit place.
You probably want to remove the door stop and rod
assembly from the oven door frame for ease of assembly. The two screws on the side of the actual door frame. If you can not get the assembly back then you may have to take the inner
side walls off of the oven.

I have not taken one down that far.
