Replaced oil pan gasket awhile back, the oil leaking problem is still there. Apparently, the leak is coming from somewhere under the left side of the power steering (Right side of the Integra). The left side of the car is bone dry. I replaced the cam seal which was leaking at the time(left) but I haven't for the other two (right side) where the timing belt is. Could this be the culprit? If it is...damn it'll be a b*tch to get to.

you cant tell where the oil is coming from?
a while back I had a similar problem on the drivers side of my car where eveything under the car - wheels, suspension, and power steering, on that side would be covered in oil about 1 day after I washed it... I thought it was the oil pan gasket as well (I thought maybee blowby is pushing oil out of the gasket)... it took me a while to figure it out.. it turned out to be the main crank seal (which I had already replaced about a month prior to this)... had that replaced again and the leak was gone...
since the seal is under the crank pulley it makes it realy hard to tell where the leak is.. the pulley slings the oil all over

SiMike, I know where the oil drip is...coming from somewhere on the right side of the upper engine. Probably one of those cam shalf seal is gone.
12SecGSR, how do you replace yours..what parts must be removed? Thx.

wash the motor and park it for a day or two. put some card board or sumthin under it to see where the oil drips...

Thanks 12SecGSR. Mine is definately out of warranty. Fortunately, the leak isn't as bad as yours..it just wet up the oil pan, not to a dripping point yet. I'll contact some local mechanics and see what the $damage$ to fix it up will be.

Did you check your oil separator box on the back of the block? Mine has leaked oil from there for a long tim and it get's all over the place.

the first time I did mine, the motor was out... I havent checked the manual, but I think all you have to do is take the crank pulley off - then you can see the seal... it has to be pried out.. it is pretty dificult to do.. the new one just gets pressed back in... I replaced all my seals when the motor was out, and I guess I screwed that one up, because it always leaked..
the second time around I took it to a local honda/acura only mechanic shop to make sure it was done right and had a warranty... it cost about $250 /w parts and labor (the seal is only like $12 of that)... I imagine it is a pretty dificult job with the engine in, but it can definately be done...
when the seal was bad my 17" rims would get filled with oil, like I had a cv boot break, and all the suspension and power steering on that side was covered in oil, making the leak hard to pinpoint... I even jacked my car up and laid under it while it ran to try to find the leak with no luck.. so I took it to that shop and they knew what it was and fixed it... to me it was well worth the money to not get dirty and especially to know it had a warranty after I had fixed myself wrong once already...
