Hello everybody. I was just wondering if anybody has a REV HARD turbo kit? I just got my turbo kit for my 98 ITR. I got the RC 310cc injectors, HKS headgasket, blockquard, and the v-afc. I also got a turbo timer, and boost controller. My big question is where can I get an air filter for the system at?? Also would a manuel boost controller work with the deltawaste gate with the 9psi spring?? can boost be set lower, like 7psi??

Welcome to the family. You will find answers to most of your questions here. I also wanted to welcome you to the small family of FI type R's. My 98 ITR is sueprcharged. If you want, I can put you incontact with two other turbo type R's. Also becarfull with you block at full boost. I have heard way to many turbo type R's blowing the enigne under full boost for more then 15sec. Also what area are you from? I'm in the import racer capitol of the world Silicon Valley/San Jose/ Milipitas/ San Fransisco. etc....

Rturbo, not to be confussed with Arturbo, BoostCreeper has a Rev-Hard kit that has an air filter. He got it made by Corkey Bell(car tech) in San Antonio texas. It looks just like the piping the kit comes with and good quality. Drop me an email if you want more info.

Contact Smitty (TurbotypeR) on this board... he has been through every trial and tribulation a Turbocharged Type "R" could have !!! He should be able to help.

You cannot set your boost controller lower than the spring in your wastegate. The best thing to do is to have a small spring (5 psi) in the wastegate and use the controller to raise it.
