BakedPotato vids from the gig

Thought I would share for those wanting some Sunday entertainment.
Derek was kind enough to bring out his Pro Tools rig and record the show. The quality and mix is best-case scenario. We had three cameras there as well.

This one is a short song we do that's kind of hectic, so I tried to edit it as such. www.houseofdrumming.com/dysfunctional.wmv (14mb) Complete with MTV style title!

Is it the titainium(sp?) series one?

Very cool. Going to be out on tour with Curtis Salgado in Oct and Nov and will be coming thru LA on Nov 20 at Cafe Boogaloo in Hermosa Beach. Will post itinerary when it gets a bit closer and see if anyone wants to pop into the gigs.

Steve- What time signature is that Dysfunctional tune?

Drumskull: (clever name BTW) the tune is in 4 actually, but the bass line goes over the bar line so it's a two bar phrase. It's a 16th note oriented phrase if that helps you figure out where our quarter-note is. Once you can feel the 2 bar phrase and get comnfortable with it, everything kinda falls into place.
The flams during the inro break are 3 over 4 so don't use them to establish the time. [img]wink.gif[/img]
