4th November 2002 sees Darren Hayes release his soaring, romantic new single ?I Miss You?, the 3rd track taken from Darren?s smash debut solo album ?Spin?.
Darren Hayes is currently touring the UK this month for the first time as a solo artist. Darren has named it the ?Too Close For Comfort Tour?, a title that sums up the fact that Darren won?t be playing the big stadiums typical of Savage Garden. Instead, Darren will perform in slightly smaller venues, promising a more intimate experience for his fans. Tickets for the first London date sold out in just 2 days and due to massive demand lots of extra dates have been added. More than half of the UK tour is sold out and the reaction has been astounding. The final date of Darren?s incredibly successful tour will be in London on Oct 16th at Hammersmith Apollo.
Darren Hayes has already proved beyond any doubt his star quality as a solo artist with the stunning success of his debut album ?Spin? which was released in March this year and debuted at no.2 in the album charts. ?Spin? is now platinum certified, 23 weeks later the album still shifts several thousand copies a week.
