Mr Ward, a science teacher, came into our assembly on Wenesday, saying that the annual science quiz is on soon. He needed Form 3 students, and he chose about 4 people from each class, and he chose the people who scored the top 3 marks in the classes in their summer tests and(now I don't record test results, but apparently) I was one of the people who scored the top 3 marks! [img]rolleyes.gif[/img] First shock over, he told us to come down to his room at lunch to do a test to see who would make it through to the science quiz, so we went (one girl decided to not do it [idiot]) and it was kinda hard. We were given pictures on the over-head projector like a clay-pipe triangle (I had to skip that one) and asked us what it was. He also had things like 'True or false: anti-biotics kill the nucleus but don't kill a virus.' And upon reading an ad about a year earlier saying 'anti-biotics don't work on colds!' I got that one right! [img]tongue.gif[/img] Anyway, we had to wait a whole day for the results (I walked past him the corridor today and he told me first [img]smile.gif[/img] ) and I made it in the team! Woohoo! The last thing was that he's put the names in order of marks, and I came first! Another 'woohoo!' I really don't believe it! I was the only one in the class to get into the team, and Kirsty Mc Cafferty (a really smart+cool girl in my class) got into reserve! OMG I'm gonna represent my school in a science quiz with other schools like Inst and St Mary's (mmmmmmmmm........boys) and apparently one school is really, really, really smart! But still, woooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
