Honda TPS are sold with the throttle body only, I'm looking for one for a 91 Civic 1.5... Dealer wants $700 for the entire assembly. Does anyone know of a place where I can buy just the TPS? I would rather not have to deal with a questionable part from a salvage yard...
I had the same problem - I looked for the least expensive TB I could find on EBAY of all places, and got lucky it not only had a good TPS but a good MAP sensor ... just a thought ...
I am not aware of any sources that can supply a TPS sensor only...
If you find one, please let me know.
Ditto. My TPS is fubar, and I'd like to replace it without buying an entire TB.

I ended up buying a used one from a salvage yard. It seems that only US models have the anti-tamper screws, so those junkyards that can get non-USDM cars can get those TPS, although still used; maybe someone living out of the US may be able to shed a little light...
I sent a PM on another board to my honda mechanic about this, I'll post up his reply when I get one.
Okay, my mechanic said:
"you can remove the anti tamper screws but as far as I know there isnt an aftermarket company that sells TPS units seperatly.
Honda only sells them as a TB unit. Once you do remove teh screws it takes some computer knowhow to reset the base TPS position to give the right voltage to the ECm so it has a correct closed throttle reference."
Guess you guys have to buy the whole damn thing eh?
