The following players, Haffner, Gerut, Broussard, Lawton, Burks, Spencer (no longer on the team) are all on pace to knock in at least 20 homers if they played in 150 games!
Bradley and Blake are on pace to hit 15 homers.
Clearly, if our Corner players (1st & 3rd) were on pace to hit 30-35 homers, our team power numbers would be acceptable. What is also harming us a bit is our walks to strikeout ratio is a bit out of whack as
we've struckout over twice as many times as we've walked.
Second base hasn't produced much either. Jim Thome could have been a key ingredient this year for us, but I think he wanted too many years at too much money.
