I have three of the paper skirts. Someone from this board was nice enough to get them at the outlet and send them to me. I worked with a lady on ebay and had her make me 3 wool sweaters, one is red for Molly and then blue and gold for Susan and Linda. I made each of them their own treat bags and still have to do all the leis, but I think it'll look cute when done. I figure some of our other girls can eventually stand in for Linda and Susan.

Laurie, What a adorable and clever idea! Thanks for sharing that. I would love to see a photo of Molly, Susan, and Linda in their outfits!! I have some small bags that I could decorate for a treat bag. Gee, maybe I should buy both--the retired paper skirt on ebay and the new one from AG to get the sweater, lei etc. UGH! The dilemma continues. .. . . . . thanks again!

I'm a rather a purist myself, and have been trying to decide what to do about ordering Molly's halloween outfit. I finally decided that I'm going to order the outfit from AG, and also a paper skirt from Ebay. I know this means I'll have 2 skirts, but figure that the new plastic one can be used more for play, and the (probably more fragile) paper skirt will be used for my collection. Hope this helps!

That does help, Ruth. Thanks. I will probably do the same---still thinking about it!

I just finished reading "Meet Molly" and realized I NEED the grass hula skirt. ( I don't have Molly yet, but definitely plan to get her!) Anyway, I need opinions on whether I should buy the new Halloween outfit with the plastic skirt while AG has free shipping on Halloween items, or should I buy just the PAPER skirt for $10 or so on ebay! It's really hard to decide when I haven't seen either, but my purist side says the skirt should be paper like it is in the book.
Thanks in advance,
Karla
