Axl Rose was arrested early this morning in Stockholm in a hotel he was staying. He had started a bad argument with his female personal assistant, and the security from the hotel tried to stop it. Axl got rather aggressive and apparently bit the security man on the leg. Police was called, and as Axl was aggressive and didn't want to get arrested he was put on handcuffs and spent his night in a cell for drunken people.
Hopefully he will be able to continue his tour tomorrow...

A few different versions of this one circulating just now. Axl should learn to grow up, good publicity tho

Axl's appetite are playing Oslo tonight and people have been worried about whether he got in a bad mood threw one of his tantrums and went back to America, but when I saw him being released on the news this morning he looked to be in a fairly good mood.
Normally I would go see this. I like Guns & Roses, but when the new album isn't out yet I really couldn't be arsed to go hear the old songs yet again. Would like to hear if the new album is any good first..... but hey, that's just me LOL

why am i not surprised ? another publicity stunt *yawn* from the ultimate tosser himself....
i hope they keep his sorry ass behind bars and the rip-off talentless tour gets cancelled.
So far there hasnt been anything positive said about his UK tour and Im tipping this is the trend to be continued.....sooner the public sees him as the tosser he is the better.

I never said 'nobody cares' , of course he could sell out concerts ! ...and if thats what gets your respect, you may as well pay respect to Backstreet Boys.
someone with such publicity could churn out absolute crap (and he is doing just that) and easily impressioned mainstream kids would still worship him.
..and NO, I do not hold reviews as gospel, but going by what has been reported so far from those who have seen the show, the people who enjoy it are mostly band wagon teenagers suckers who can not form their own opinions.

"Bandwagon teenage suckers" what a way to describe kids who are probably just getting into our scene, I'd rather them buy tickets for Guns N Roses than Britney Spears, do ya know what really pisses me off, people jumping on the "lets slag them off bandwagon" because it's fashionable, and I bet 90% of them own a copy of Appetite for destruction and were as blown away as I was when they first heard it, freedom of choice mate, so lets not have a go at the people who have decided to buy tickets for one of these shows,I'm well aware that Axl is the only original member, all be it a very important one and that he has a few issues(don't we all) but he aint holding people at gunpoint to come to his shows, just my opinion you understand!

I wasn't there, but have a few friends who were and they said the concert was ok.
It started off really well and Axl sang good this time too. First 3 - 5 songs were really cool. Then the solo stuff started. GNR have always been a "jam" band, at least since Illusion and personally I didn't like it much then either. I don't mind one or two extended solos in songs when you hear them live, but I remember seeing the Paris concert from the Illusion tour live on TV and it seemed almost every song had an extended guitar or piano intro + extended solos and on top of that they all had their own solos part in the show too.
I'm not really into that. It's a relic of the 70's and 80's that are best left there and I have a feeling the majority of kids today don't really care about 10 minutes solos anymore either.
At least on the Illusion tour you had the Rockstars doing their solos while Axl was off stage and you only had 2 guitarists. This time I believe it was 3 guitarists doing solos and even if the new band are great musicians they really don't have what it takes to fill a stage that big properly. So it seemed kinda empty when Axl went off.
Then they did a few new ballads that didn't seem to work too well. At the end it got better again, but non of the people I have talked to have said more than that it was ok.

Who cares about reviews? The shows are sold out so some people must care.
Also why grow up this is what Rock N Roll is all about love him or hate him that's how he has always been.
Glad he doesn't play things safe nowdays like so many rockstars do.
