WB "STRUCK".................

...Well, ever since WB Molly moved in here, I cannot stop looking at Ebay for WB Kirsten and Samantha. I love my Molly so much and she is so special to me. I did not realize that there would be such a difference between WB features in comparison to PM and Mattel dollies.

I mean.....she is one the first Pleasant Company morsels!!! Her beauty is so simple. I find myself so attracked to her simplicity and wholesomeness. I also find my self drooling over her and have to put her down as do not want the others to feel any less special/loved. Does anyone else feel like this about their WB's????.

I do know how you feel. When I look at my WB Molly I am enthralled with her beauty. She has the most gorgeous, creamy complexion. Sheila, when looking for your WB Kirsten and Samantha(as we all know you will) check their complexions really well. Something happens to the vinyl on some of the WB dolls that changes it's color and it's not always pretty. Some of them are olive or yellow or just plain green. [img]graemlins/gulp.gif[/img]

Seriously, yes, I felt Kirsten was special for being a WB, but that actually was only after I found out the WBs are worth more money and highly prized among collectors. [img]redface.gif[/img] I do think a PM Kirsten is much neater than a Mattel Kirsten, but if she weren't MY Kirsten that I've had since I was fairly young, I don't think I'd really love WBs that much more than other regular PMs (if at all). She'd look better in her Midsummer Outfit if she didn't have a muslin body, after all... [img]graemlins/sure.gif[/img]

I sympathize with you completely, there I was early one morning scanning Ebay.... She was sooo pretty a WB Sam in the box for a BIN of only $100 with accesories. What was I to do???? The girls already had a Sam and to give them a special one like that WB Sam, my on conculsion was she would be put up until they got older. She arrived and I was lost. We now own her, WB Molly and 2 WB Kirstens. You are a goner...Yep thats for sure.

Yes, the original girls, like my Kirsten and Sam, are so much prettier than their later counterparts.

I feel this way also about my white body Molly. She is beautiful and everytime I play with her, I just love her more. I love our others, but she is special.

I have a WB Kirsten and Samantha, and I think they are just beautiful. Wait 'til you see those two- they are sooo different from the Mattel ones, or even the later PMs.

I'd love to see a WB Molly. My Molly (Lisbeth) is PM, but tan-bodied, early 90s.
