I wonder what do I need to do to I tune my GSR? Would I need to buy/add more parts to it to tune it? At this point, I don't see how in the world I can tune it except with something like valve adjustment which I did already.
setup:
95 GSR w/ JRSC @ 6psi
DC 4-2-1 header, Type R stock exhaust
JR BTC, timing 16 BTDC, platinum cold plug (7E), Fidanza 8lbs flywheel, CS stage 2 clutch, fluidyne rad, 170 deg thermostat.
plugs/wires/distrib cap/rotor recently replaced.
That's all the perf. parts/spec I can think of. Fuel pressure at 60psi vacumn off...

what do you mean by tuning it???
do you want more power??? is it not running right.....????

Is there any way(thing) I can adjust to fine tune it? Make more power, more responsive etc..I don't know...After I installed the JRSC, there seem to be not much I can do..just left it there and run forever..

hey,
get your-self a apex v-afc and go to a good dyno tuner, after that your car will run like a dream guaranteed!!!

Hey Randomn, I think the first thing you should do is get a stepper pulley and turn that boost up. Then go with a VAFC and fine tune the fuel curve on the dyno.

Changing the JR FPR to a Cartech (if you haven't already) will let you tune fuel pressure better at WOT.
Skip the band-aids. Buy a stand alone engine management system. I wish I had.

Well...there are some little things. Such as getting adjustable cam gears and dyno tuning, playing with the timing a little, and playing with the fuel with something like an apexi afc, or even your static fuel pressure. Make sure you open up the exhaust, get an intake, etc to squeeze the most power out of the system.
Not too much to do to the system after that, that is why most people go with a turbo...so most people that have no clue what they are doing can turn up the boost and blow there stock internals to shreds, hahahhaa

True dat!! I wish I did the same thing. The standalone may seem expensive initially but if you think about it, all the band-aid items probably amounted to as much.
I've stopped buying more "band-aids" to save for a standalone.
