When I time the film counter on a non-stop "dry-run" on my Zizo Pro, I get 1 minute and 40 seconds from 50' to 0'? Should the stop watch read 3 minutes 20 seconds at 18fps? Or is it because their is no film in the camera and the counter reads incorrectly?
Thanks,
Germanglass

I think you've answered your own question.Without the resistance of a load on the cameras motor, your camera will run faster.
For example, I have a old 35 mm Arri -A this camera has a tachometer it runs way fast without film.
The only way you will know for sure is to run the film and take a look see.

That would explain the 0 to 50 at double the speed.

If the camera is running faster then he should get less than 3 min 20 sec, not more.
