Just got my V1 w/concealed display. I'm curious if most of you run with the "All-Bogey" setup where it's set to display all radar, or if you have found the "Logic" and "Advanced-Logic" formats to be effective in eliminating false alerts.

I run the partial logic mode. All bogey mode is as annoying as $hit esp. in urban areas. And I would kick myself if I left it on full auto and "filtered" out a legitimate signal.

I too use the "Logic" (big L) mode instead of the full alert mode. I find it to be far more useful.

Thanks guys.
Having it on "All" is getting really annoying!
This detector is amazing; where my old detector didn't read any radar, I'm getting two distinct radar signals from the V1. Now I just have to practice driving without staring at it all the time. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

In some cities (state), Xband was eliminated by law enforcement..so you can also reprogram and disable the Xband on your V1. Go to valentineone website for do it yourself instruction. This will cut down "false alarm" tremedously since most grocery stores alarm/automatic door opener etc use X band.

I use the Advanced logic in the city and All when I hit the highway. At 90+ mph, you can never be too cautious.

My V1 saved me 3 times the night I posted that last message on my way up I80 going to Omaha. I love it when I pass 2 state patrol doing a two way speed trap, and guess who is going slightly under the speed limit???? http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
