Didn't we sign them both the same year?
If we did, and CC has served much more time in the majors than Dany's, why is everyone worried about Dany's not being re-signable but CC is OK?
CC signed his four year deal only one year after Danys, yet CC has 1/2 year more major league experience than Danys, what am I missing here?

I beleive CC signed a 5-6 year deal last year and would be in the second year of that contract. I'm not sure about Baez but I think the Indians either hold an option for next year or he's due for salary arbritration. He was signed as a free agent so I don't the rules are the same as if he was drafted and came up throught the minors.

Although Baez did come up through the minors and he still has next year to go.
CC only signed a 4 year deal. Perhaps there is a renewal clause, but CC probably won't exercised it.

Wait a minute, is Baez in the last year of his contract? Sheesh, time flies when you spend the first year and a half in the minors.
