code 10-54 means several things...these codes are used by police so people listening on scanners dont know whats going on (even though its easy to figure out)
the definitions of the codes vary, but some are standardized, like CB codes.
code 10-54 means HOMOCIDE in some circles.
in Wyoming, it means LIVESTOCK ON FREEWAY
