My apologies for not responding in a timely manner, i was out beating people on the head with my Bible.

the response given is correct, drinking is not a sin, as long as it is does within reason and according to the law.

one other catch though, as the last line of your statement says, Christians should not be stumbling blocks for others, which is why I chose to remove the appearance of alchohol from my board, last Saturday I was eating lunch with a friend of mine from church camp. She made a comment that she felt very uncomfortable eating at places that served alchohol. she is a very close friend of mine (not close enough to know that I drink), but close nonetheless, and that made me think, there are many people who think that drinking is wrong, and choose to completely refrain from it. i am willing to honor those people's opinions by removing it from my board, even if they don't ever come to hostboard.
