Just found out another good friend committed suicide. And right now no one knows why she did. Sorry................

hmmmmmm.....
i'm naturally cynical about suicide in general.
imo, there are only two reasons --
#1 -- lack of intelligence (ie... no real clue
how to rationally analyze a difficult situation
and solve your problem)
#2 -- realization of your finiteness....
in either case, i'm indifferent (though i will
confess a slight jealousy in the latter).
its unfortunate that you have to come face-to-face
with such truths, cya... and i'm sure that you
are wanting resolution to this situation.

true but you also have to include the cases that have a chemical imbalance making it hard for a person to pick themselfs back up when feeling low or that they just always feel low in general.
What is weird is she was the last you would expect to do something like this. No warnings no nothing. hmmmmmm [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img]

hmmmm.... i'm not really that easily persuaded
to go for the 'chemical imbalance' thing-a-ma-jig...
i mean technically.... 'chemically imbalanced'
compared to what? a control group?
even so, its just a representative sample...
which goes back to statistics... and well, i
think that if the person could be considered
the 'last to be expected to do this'....
well i just dunno....
i feel the potential is in all of us...
as is the price for our 'cleverness'.
but cest la vie....
its always difficult to fully know the reasons
why a person had killed themselves... even if
they told you the reasons... it is usually
far from the obvious.
still.....

Then would you go for the "imbalance of a personal gentics" such as having an extra X or Y (cant remember which) which increases their chances of being violent?
Ahhh but anyhow we are straying.. I dont think she was chemically imbalanced though I do wish somehow that were the reason I could point to as like I said. Some times you hear the cries for help and some times you hear nothing.
