There's a pub called The Phoenix on Oxford Road, it's by the Universities and it's one of those 'Its a Scream' places, painted yellow, where all the students meet. From there, its Jilly's, also on Oxford Road, going towards the city centre, on the right hand side, near KFC and McDonalds.
Don't think there's much else, unless you're willing to go out of town to Ashton, where there's a pub called the Witchwood that usually has tribute bands on.
Oh, I think there's a Hard Rock Cafe up at the Printworks complex, near Manchester Victoria station, in the north of the city centre.
The Printworks is fast becoming the main entertainment area of the city, lots of trendy bars and clubs up there. But there's plenty of student bars down by the Uni's.

Davi knows the pubs there Lewis, he'll no doubt drag you into the pub near Oxford Street Train station (can't remember wot it's called, but it is the best alternate pub in Manchester)
