I am seriously considering opening up a online comic book store.
Thoughts?
To start with I won't be able to afford carrying everything. Obviously I would have to carry the major companies. What Indys would you guys like to see?
If you were to order online what types of things would you like to see. Comics, Prints, Statues, T-Shirts, Specialty Items, etc... I don't expect anyone to order once I have it up. Assuming I don't chicken out! But if anyone was willing to give me feedback, I would appriciate it.

I only read a couple of titles and I haven't even really kept up with those two, but I have bought prints and t-shirts before. If you do start the store thing you should definitely put some of the stuff up on Ebay, just to help promote the store. That's how I've come across some of the harder to find stuff. My favorite local comic book store got bought up by a bigger company and now they don't even carry my favorite book. :(

That would be Poison Elves. I know the author's been in the hospital for awhile and I got kind of wrapped up in school earlier this year. I think I'm an issue or two behind.

I've never read it, but heard it is good. Let me know which is the last issue you have, I'll see if we have it at the store if you want. Some of the indy's it is harder to get back issues.

There's something I always wanted an online store to have: a simple way to pay without mind confusing rules on rules on rules.
Think about it when you choose the payment methods...

PayPal seems to work well. Just don't get me started about the f*&cker who jacked my card # right before X-mas. Fortunately the people at my former credit union were incredibly helpful.

PayPal seems to be the most secure. Despite occasional porblems. Plus, it keeps the liability out of your hands, if you anren't actually handling the credit purchases. [img]smile.gif[/img]
