I've been practicing quite a bit and notice the next morning my neck is stiff.
Tonight I had an all reading gig and my neck was burning.
I put the music stand to my left side.
When I practice I usually am not looking at music.
I've been using a mirror and my posture looks pretty good, although sometimes a burning sensation happens in my mid back. My cymbals are low enough so I don't have to hold up my arm with my shoulder muscle to play a repetative groove pattern.
Any suggestions/excercises?

Havent looked at the link yet (maybe its in there), but one thing that always gets me is if my throne is not tightened up, such that the seat will wobble a little bit. That seems to crunch up the side of my back that is on the up side of the "wobble".

Thanks for the replies. I just found out it may because of my air-conditioner next to my drums in my studio.
I'll try to keep it off when I'm practicing, because i'm right next to it.

Funny that blake.... 10mins ago i thought about your problem and wondered if you were sitting next to an open door or draught. spooky!

Well, that was the solution so far.
Don't play near an air-conditioner. My neck has been fine since. Sweating and then cold air can crimp up a nerve.
I saw Jack Dejohnette in Brazil and after the gig he covered his head and shoulders with a towel. It was a hotel and of course there was air-conditioning. At the time I thought it was odd. Makes sense now.
