I'd like to hear Vinnie's testimony as well, if possible. Pocketime, have you been to the Drummers for Jesus website? Cool interview with Alex Acuna over there if you're interested. I saw him do a clinic and had a new found respect for him when he shared his faith, unashamed, with everyone there.

I will be at this performance tonight, and I will do my best to get all the pictures I can for you all! Vinnie is the final performer tonight at 9pm, and he apparently will be playing a few tunes with the house band that plays with each drummer there, then solo, and then give his testimony. I have been fortunate enough to be asked (through a friend who attends the church) to work the staff for the event for tonight and tomorrow, so hopefully I can get some great shots! I WILL BE LISTENING FOR ALL OF YOU!! [img]wink.gif[/img]

Hey Plaid!! If it is at all possible can you get a recording of Vinnies' testimony? I would love to hear how he came to Christ and how He is working in his life. One of the greatest playing for The Greatest!! Praise God from who all blessings flow. PT.

Saw that advertised in Modern Drummer, and I see Alex Acuna AND Paul Leim (REALLY like this guy) will be there as well! Sounds like its gonna be incredible. I'd even consider converting to Christianity to get in there! [img]wink.gif[/img] Well...living nearby would help first actually.

Yes I have checked out the DFJ website and you're right it is cool. I have'nt read the Alex Acuna article although I will. I had the opportunity several years ago to sing in a choir that backed up Ron Kenolly with Alex on percussion and Chester Thompson on drums and it was an exciting time of sharing. It was really a wonderful time. I hope that Plaid will write a review, I too, would love to hear what Vinnie had to say! "Keep It In The Pocket". PT.

There is a Vinnie solo on this site where Vinnie briefly speaks about Jesus and how without Him he could do nothing. I thought that that was really cool!!

That is strange Steve I can't seem to find it either. I thought that it was at the begining of either the 20 minute solo or the 45 minute solo. I went through all of the various solos and could'nt find it. He says that right at the very begining of the clinic.
