bulbs for boost gauge

i'm looking for somekind of transparent paint to paint my boost gauge bulb blue...i'm tire of the yellowish..any idea? http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

You can get small bottles of transparent spray paint at hobby shops. I don't know which ones there are around your area though, they carry lots of different types of paint for model cars/trucks/planes/etc...

If your gauges are "Autometer"... you can actually purchase a package of THREE blue slip-covers (we call them bulb-condems) from your local speed shop.

tried it..won't fit over my Autometer bulb.

Hmm..tried this one too..must have picked up a WRONG type of transparent paint or something..because it little MELTED on me.. Luckily the damn thing did'nt caught on fire.

Don't they come with those 2 rubber caps that go over the lightbulb inside the gauge? I may have one lying in the garage if you need it.
