Anyone know where I can get one? Doesnt have to work. I am relocating mine, and I want to plug the hole with a junked one.
Checking the local salvage yards. But they'll probly sell me one that works...$$$

I also relocated my MAP sensor. What I did is to make a piece of aluminum plate and drilled two holes for the mounting. The O-ring needs to stay on the TB for the proper sealing. See the pic below.

Cool. That would work.
I am thinking if I had 2 MAP sensors I could plot the pressure differences between the TB and the intake manifold. I am curious as to how much difference there is when you transition from vac to boost. Could shed some more insight on the tip in characteristics.

The MAP sensor on the TB doesn't see boost, only vacuum. By relocating the MAP sensor to the intake manifold allows it to see boost but can also create a CEL due to the voltage reading being too high. What I did is connected the MAP sensor (intake manifold) to the J&S Safeguard v2 (per Larry), set the max output voltage to 3.0vdc. I think that's the upper limit the ECU will allow according to the manual.

Yeah thats why i am going thru the trouble of relocating it.
Comparing the pressures will reveal some characteristics of the flow of these systems.
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for... I also posted the same info on ClubSi..
Here is some information for those who has a J&S v2. J&S v2 allows you to plumb the MAP sensor to the intake manifold to see boost and it provides a limiter circuit to prevent the ECU from seeing the excessive voltage. I've listed the max voltage you can set without causing a CEL and the different values based on the different voltage settings. I'm not sure how the ECU interpret the data but it seems to help eliminate the tip-in problem that most of us have. Currently, I'm not using the IAT resistor mod or TPS mod. I'm only using this MAP sensor mod, stock injectors and no tip-in problem. You will notice the effective range of this mod is only from zero vacuum to 1.5-2.0 psi of boost. I think this is the range where most people have the tip-in problem.

Here is what happens if you set the voltage too high. The car immediately goes into limbo mode and it runs like shit! Basically, it generated a CEL code3/DTC P0108.
