I was incredibly stoked to see Johnny Rotten & co. on that show. The few times I've seen him publically in recent years, he looked like a man trully in the hole. I saw him on JUDGE JUDY for cryinoutloud , haggling with some venue manager.
His appearance on Kimmel was a marked contrast. Perhaps something's lit a new fire under his ass.
friend of mine saw them at the Greek (I think?) while we were at the Ventura show...said he was just like he used to be - up there talkin' shit to the people in the front rows, saying they were lame yuppies with money and that the real old school hard core people in the back should be the ones up front....it's funny, he's OLD now - but don't tell him that!
Johnny Rotten is a huge dick and hypocrite. I absolutely love him.
