At the MCM sale, the Coconuts looked the same and had a magnetized mouth, but they were light weight - not the heavy, heavy little guy that I am used to. Are all Coconuts that way now?

Could they be older Coconuts? My Coconut is pretty new, and isn't very heavy at all.
My older Coconut is very heavy - like a paperweight. So, are all the new Coconuts light?

I just ordered Coconut for DD, and she is a light little thing. So is Licorice.
Edited for typo.

My coconut is old and heavy. Mine has gotten thrown a few times and she left bruises and bumps. Old Coconut is pretty dangerous should she become airborne.
But yes the new ones I looked at were really light. They seemed a teeny bit smaller to me too.
I thought about getting an newer one for the magnet mouth, but she just wasn't the same.
Did the old coconuts not have a magnetic mouth?
My coconut is heavy, I got him last year and has a magnetic mouth. I don't know though if there was one even heavier ever. But he sure seems heavy, so I guess he's an old batch??

Now, Barnes & Noble sells Licorice and Coconut. They aren't supposed to have magnet mouths, but our B&N Licorice does (yay!). They also don't come with accessories from B&N, just books. They are roughly the same price, give or take a few cents, as the AG ones. The basic accessories for both critters are available as replacement items through AG...we just got our Licorice ball and bed that way.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The oldest ones did not, and mnine sure does not. She's VERY heavy. I weighed her and the scale says she's 1.2 lbs.Quote:

My scale isn't that accurate though, so I'll have to try the post office scale on monday.
I bought my Coconut a year and a half ago at Barnes and Noble. She has the magnet mouth but is light, not heavy at all.
She came with a collar that has a flower charm on it, leash, and Coconut's Guide to Life.
I had heard the old Coconut's were heavy, but it must have been over a year and a half ago.
The old, heavy Coconut was first issued with no magnet. We have one of those. Then, the magnet mouth came out and we had to get one of those.
It is really heavy, too. There is no mistaking the difference between the heavy and the light Coconut.
