You know what? I think I prefer Jerry's solo stuff to Foxy Roxx *our hero ducks a volley of beer bottles tossed by the peanut gallery*. p Just think his stuff is a little more from the heart (and not in a Bryan Adams type way....or maybe it is). I dig that.

i think you are compring apples to oranges!
Foxy Roxx is great but so is jerry stuff.
but two different worlds (at least to me)
i dunno were you just comparing his guitar work in general or the releases?
i dunno...i have too much time on my hands too! (after all i am on here aren't i?)
LOL

Foxxy roxx was a good colaborative effort, but it's clear from D.O.G. that jerry is a very good solo artist, writer and a fantastic guitar player as well. Either way Jerry rocks!

I've said since hearing Jerry's solo stuff that I by FAR prefer the solo stuff. I keep his CD with me at all times, and break it out quite often. I almost never listen to the Foxy stuff. It lands too far into the "cheese" world for me, too often. It's fun stuff for sure, but I need to be in the right frame of mind. The solo stuff works at all times of the day and night. It;s just a great CD that should have attracted more people. One of those that somebody will pick up years down the road and be confused as to why it didn't rule the world when first released.

1. No, Foxy Roxx is broke up (although rumors of them getting back together always abound).
2. Shake the Foundation is very pricey (good thing I bought it when it was new, eh?)
3. Jerry's cd is awesome. I think he's still selling it. If you want, give me your address and I'll burn ya' a cdr copy of it to check out. The only flaw I found in the entire cd was that damned cymbal in the first song (once you hear it, you can never unhear it, I've found)

I bought it too when they released it (it was in 1994 more or less, I don't remember) but they didn't release the album in Spain and 4 this reason it was expensive...
