Ever since I installed the JRSC, my car smells bad when im under full boost. It doesnt smell like gas or oil or anything like that, its a weird smell. Is this common with the JRSC? If not, what could it be and what could I do about it. I also have a JR hi-flow cat, but my engine smells bad along with my exhaust.
I know it's tough - can you be a bit more specific? Does it smell like maple syrup?
Sort of. Kinda smells like an electrical fire, but dont worry, there's no burning plastic, rubber, or wires.
Maybe your clutch is burning up. Did you replace the stock one yet?

I think it's normal, I smell a "burning" scent under boost too!
Tony Boltons car did the same thing!!!! I cant describe it but it was a strange smell and it only happened in boost. maybe he will chime in here and be civic I mean "civil" [img]smile.gif[/img]
Yea I have a brand new ACT clutch, its definitely not that. It doesnt quite smell like clutch
you car has a stank pussy or something.... Mine smells just fine...
could be the smell of the belts ... they stink bad, and a little bit of friction heat can really get the smell going. check belt tension and take a sniff near there, but be careful, they smell bbaadd ....
