Who is going to be the best athlete/player in any sport going in to the season next year and why? I don't get to see any of the teams play so I can't offer an opinion.

Caleb Powers at Haysi is going to be one hell of a football player next year on both sides of the ball.

Yeah I can see that happening as well. I also look for excellent seasons from Chad "the mortician" Barton and Joe Yates.

what about lance holding all of this together?

With a year under his belt I think lance is going to come out strong and just get stronger. I'd like to see him get into the groove he was in when we played honaker in region. This could be a very interesting year.

the one thing that worries me is the O-line the defence will be solid as always and the backs will be good but can the line come together if so they could be a dangerous team

If you recall the O-Line was a concern at the beginning of the last two seasons too but our boys stepped it up and it all came together. We have a few boys returning and a few more with experience so we'll just have to see how it goes. I don't think we're going to be as bad off as initially thought.

Dont know much about the upcoming year in Football right off, i know all the guys you all have mentioned, but in Basketball i know that Matt Baldwin should have a nice year for TV along with Garrett Horn and Hunter Simpson also. Other than that i really dont know much as of now but hope to hear more in the future or at least read more.

As far as having concerns about the o-line, that's probably the biggest concern most teams have at any level. Virginia Tech has had those concerns every year for the last bunch of years. It's harder to get the big boys that can play than the skill positions. It also takes longer to get a lineman ready to play. You don't see too many Adrian Peterson's come in as freshmen on the line and perform well.
