Last night (out of curiosity) I took my trunk apart, I took out everything except the wood enclosure, I think I would have to destroy that to get it out.
pounds:
36 Subwoofers (2)
40 Side amps with wood (2)
15 Mid amp with wood
25 Plexiglass
5 LCD and wood
Total weight eliminated: about 120 pounds

Wow!!!!! See, those are some heavy SOBs.... For every 100lb u take out. Your quarter mile time is 1/10 sec better, relatively speaking.......... Don't take anything out that u have to destroy or can't put back together. It's not worth the trouble. BTW, I finished you heat shield!!! Looks Bing Bing!!!!

How about a fuel cell instead of a gas tank? hehe..
Probably around 50lbs or so.......Stock gas tank is a bit heavy. If the weather is nice, we should be able to put it back together. BTW I polished the distributor u gave me. Looks awsome!!!! HEY Nevin, interested in a polished distributor? Take it easy.

KC, I have that DX 1.5 head at my house for the CRX.
Will you be able to install it for me? I am in no hurry.
You mentioned it needs to be cleaned, is that something you need to do beforehand? If so, I can drop it off at KAMs tomorrow.

Yeah, that's cool. Stop by and drop it off. Just make sure to put it in a small box with some rags in it so oil and dirt don't fly everywhere!! I will bring the heat shield with me also.
