Hi folks. The Wrathchild website has been updated for the first time in ages with some cool early stuff from their very early days.
Now there are rumours on the message board that the demi-gods of sex, satire and steel may be thinking about a comeback. Do we want the Stakk Attakk bakk? You betcha.
Leave your thoughts on the site board. Supposedly Marc Angel is up for it and Lance is supposed to be checking the board for interest!

I very very much doubt this rumour will come true... the guys jammed together a while back n' it just wasn't there anymore (but hey, tis been a while since I've spoken with Rocky, so they may have changed their minds...) just can't see it happening though :\
-
If it happens I'll definitely be there - something NOT to be missed!
Don't mind offering my services either if Rocky doesn't fancy doing it...
-
And isn't there an issue with Rocky's voice, Spice?
-
for as much as i love wratchchild i would not want to see them come back. they relied heavily on their look and to see them come back now would be a let down for me.
-
Sounds as if you know something we don't! Have you seen them recently...?

Spice knows Rocky, and I have been in contact with him a ton, and the last time I was in contact with him he was pretty much in the "a reunion will never happen" stance. His voice doesn't really work due to personal issues, that I don't think I can mention. He may have been busting his ass to get it back, but I am not sure. I haven't heard from him for awhile. I know in the past year he has been stepping back into the world and doing more interviews latley and doing some radio interviews. He had started to kind of try to walk away from the past, but I think he realized he liked being "Rocky" and was finding that many people love Wrathchild still. I myself hope that a reunion of some sort does happen, and the ideal would be for him to have gotten the voice back. He is an unbelievably nice guy who really deserves to get more respect and credit than he has gotten over the past 20 years.
The thing that seperates Wrathchild from all the other bands of that type (leather, spikes and sex Glam) such as Motley Crue, was that the Crue never seemed like the kind of guys you would want to hang out with. If you ever have the chance to speak with Rocky, or see the old video they have out, you come away with the idea that these guys LOVED what they were doing, and were very nice guys who would be a blast to hang with.
My communication with Rocky was some of the coolest shit I ever had the luck of having. I am only hoping that I get to finish my project that those conversations were a reason for. It felt like I was actually kind of becoming friends with the guy. I last emailed him a couple of months ago, and hopefully I will hear from him again. Truely a one of a kind of guy.
Spice, if you speak to him, tell him to drop me a line!!! I should just try giving him a call. But tell him to drop me a line if you get the chance, and if you speak to him.

As for how the guys look now ... I was sent a pic of Eddie Starr taken about a year ago and he still looked very cool ( sent to me by his bro-in-law).
Haven't heard from Rocky for ages and all the stuff on the board could be rubbish... but supposedly Marc Angel said he'd be up for it and also supposedly Lance is keeping an eye on the board to see what interest there is.
And hey...Paul Blittz I wuz at the Soho Roses farewell gig at the Marquee many moons ago. 'twas the first and last time I saw you guys and was pretty impressed!

Ya think that's THEE Paul Blittz up there posting? That would be pretty cool if it was. Hey Blittz, are you somebody some of us love?

If you're referring to the one who still hasn't received any royalties from Wella for singlehandedly doubling their sales of Shockwaves then yes, it's me.
I was just idly searching the web for any references/insults to my old band and stumbled upon this site because someone had kindly included our album in their Top 50. I was quite shocked/honoured to see that our racket - recorded in just two days (take note Axl!) - had been listed amongst some of my all-time faves, 'Stakk Attakk' being one of 'em.
