af guage

I hate to ask a repeditive question, but someone gave me an used af guage, and I was wondering what wire to hook it up to in a 94 gsr?

Simple...

Connect the purple A/F gauge wire to the white/red trace wire in the "D" plug at the ECU... location is D14.

I just installed one!

The purple goes to a white wire with red stripe (at the ECU) and the ground will go to a green wire with blue stripe (at the ECU).

Both the wires were on the same connector in my case. 94 JDM Integra

Ok, the section of wire you are looking at is called D. There is 3 section... A B D.
Take the ECU to have the section A on your left and ... ok i will scan the pic..
look at the pic its D14 like others said before.

well... with the A section on the left, the good wire it the one that is on the bottom line.

I puled my ecu this morning to install the guage. My car is a 94 and it doesn't have a D14 wire.. there are 2 white wires with red stripes, both on the same plug..
I guess I could try trial and error, but I don't want to hack up my ecu wires any more than necessary.
Does any one know which of the wires it is? Alos, does it need to be grounded on an ecu wire(like 94Integra suggested), or will a chasis ground suffice?

has anyone ever had anyproblems with an A/F guage drawing too much current off the signal wire, making the car get an incorrect signal and run badly? (this happened to a friend of mine in a supra)
